SpyMobile began with a simple frustration shared by parents on our founding team: the endless stream of "where are you?" texts, the worry of a teen's first solo bus ride, the scramble to coordinate three kids and two schedules. Existing apps either felt cold and surveillance-heavy or were so cluttered that nobody actually used them.
We set out to build something different — a calm, friendly app that helps families coordinate daily life and feel secure, while treating every member, including kids and teens, with respect. That meant making one promise the foundation of everything we build: no secret tracking, ever.
The best safety tool is an open conversation. Technology should support that conversation, not replace it.
Transparency is not a feature we added later — it's the starting point. When a family member shares their location with SpyMobile, they know it. They can see what they share, with whom, and pause it whenever they choose. We think that honesty builds the trust that actually keeps families safe over the long run.
Location data is some of the most sensitive information a person has. We treat it that way. We encrypt your data in transit and at rest, we never sell it to advertisers or data brokers, and we give you tools to delete it. You can read the specifics in our Privacy Policy.
SpyMobile is built for parents of minor children, for caregivers of family members who consent to share, and for adult family members who simply want to stay coordinated. It is not built for monitoring people without their knowledge, and we design our product to discourage that misuse.
